Aviara has partnered with Cydney Mar, Inc. in the creation of its Fashion division. Cydney Mar has joined Aviara’s management team as its Director of the Fashion Division where she brings her 32 years of experience in the fashion world.

As the name implies, Cydney Mar, Inc. was founded and is managed by its namesake, Ms. Cydney Mar. In Cydney Mar’s journey from a professional national level competitive figure skater to international fashion designer, her creative instincts have found the perfect playground for her stylish expression. Cydney’s early Couture Collections firmly established her standing as a recognized designer capturing the interests of the public when she appeared as a finalist in the Clairol Awards Premier and winning design awards in New York at the age of 21. Her design work has been featured in magazines such as the Vancouver Sun, Toronto Star, Style Magazine, Flare, Chatelaine, Lucky and on TV interviews on CTV, CNN and City TV.

Cydney Mar is well known for selling her branded apparel on The Shopping Channel in Canada and on QVC Worldwide, where she has over 600 hours of live television appearances in the US, Canada, UK and Japan over the past 10 years. Her timeless lifestyle designs have a knack for making people look and feel great. Her belief that everyday fabulous starts with beautiful, comfortable fabrics in designs created to meet the demands of today’s modern lifestyle.

Today, Cydney Mar’s Design Studio in Montreal, Canada, continues that tradition, creating fresh new ideas with her dynamic design team, breathing life into rough sketches, creating exciting fashion “ Must-Haves “ with the belief that fashion, art and design integrity can inspire each of us, everyday.
